FAQs
Straight answers.
Yes. NAF instrumentalities have their own purchasing procedures rather than following the FAR directly, and thresholds and documentation requirements vary by service and installation. Tell us what your process requires and we will match it — quote, W-9, invoice, purchase order, or card.
Yes, our registration is active, which covers appropriated-fund purchases. NAF purchases often do not require it, but it is available if your process asks.
No. NAF fiscal calendars and carryover rules differ from appropriated funds. Confirm your own year end funds rules and obligation deadlines with your resource manager rather than assuming the federal fiscal year applies. If you do have expiring funds or use or lose money, tell us the date when you request the quote and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
Youth centers, school age care, teen programs, and MWR-operated enrichment. Staff looking for SEL curriculum for a youth center generally need staff-led rather than instructor-dependent content.
Yes. Programming is quoted separately from materials as a services engagement, and NAF purchasing procedures for services often differ from those for supplies. Tell us what your process requires. Recording and video production runs at youth centers, teen programs, and MWR-operated enrichment, on site or virtually.
No. We send our own staff to run the programming. We do not train your staff to run it. Recording and production is a skill set, not a procedure. Trying to hand it off in a few hours would be like teaching a doctor to perform surgery in an afternoon — you would get a session that technically happened and a result nobody wants to hear. Because it is a service rather than a supply, NAF purchasing may route it differently. Tell us what your process requires.
No. We are supplemental. We do not replace your SEL curriculum, your trauma-informed practice, or any program you already have in place. If you run a core SEL program, keep it — ours adds a music-based component alongside it. If you have trauma-informed protocols, training, and referral pathways, those stay in force exactly as they are. Nothing in our material substitutes for them, and our facilitators are not a substitute for your clinical, counseling, or behavioral staff. Your MWR program structure is unchanged. This is added enrichment content.
Yes. The Psychological Effects of Music interactive Assembly works for MWR events, youth programming, and staff development. Because it is a service rather than a supply, NAF purchasing may route it differently. Tell us what your process requires.
