FAQs

Straight answers.

  • Yes, and it is the strongest team building format we run. A group has to produce a finished piece together under a time limit, which surfaces exactly what an organization wants to look at: who listens, who dominates, how disagreement about the work gets handled, and whether anyone can accept critique. Sessions run 90 minutes to a full day, on site or virtually, and the group leaves with a finished recording. Tell us your group size and what you want the session to reveal.

  • Keynote presentations, half-day and full-day workshops, and virtual sessions. Group size and objectives determine the format — tell us both when you inquire.

  • Yes. The advanced edition is written for adult readers and works as a workbook participants keep.

  • Watch the recording process rather than survey afterward. A team building session is worth what it reveals, and the observable measures are concrete: how long it takes the group to assign roles, whether quieter members contribute audibly to the final piece, how the group resolves a disagreement about a take, and whether they finish inside the time limit. We can debrief those observations with you or with the group directly. What we will not do is hand you a score — a number from a 90-minute session would be invented, and you would be better served by what your own managers saw happen in the room.

  • No. We send our own staff to run the programming. We do not train your staff to run it. Recording and production is a skill set, not a procedure. Trying to hand it off in a few hours would be like teaching a doctor to perform surgery in an afternoon — you would get a session that technically happened and a result nobody wants to hear. Your L&D team participates as participants. Facilitating a recording session is not something a three-hour handoff produces.

  • No. We are supplemental. We do not replace your SEL curriculum, your trauma-informed practice, or any program you already have in place. If you run a core SEL program, keep it — ours adds a music-based component alongside it. If you have trauma-informed protocols, training, and referral pathways, those stay in force exactly as they are. Nothing in our material substitutes for them, and our facilitators are not a substitute for your clinical, counseling, or behavioral staff. Your existing L&D catalog, EAP, and any wellness vendor stay in place. This is one session type added to them.

  • Yes. For a corporate audience the Psychological Effects of Music interactive Training is framed as emotional intelligence and wellness training rather than as a talk — participants do something rather than watch someone present. It works as a conference keynote, an all-hands session, a leadership offsite opener, or a wellness week centerpiece. It also pairs with the one-day music recording program as a team building activity.

  • Tell us the audience, group size, format, date, and location. We will quote the engagement and any materials separately so your budget lines stay clean.
