Builds morale, resilience and teamwork in a family-friendly format; student songs make care packages, and the recording day drives positive youth engagement on the installation.

We support resilience and readiness, morale, youth and family engagement, and teamwork with the SEL books, keynotes, and the music recording program.

FAQs

Straight answers.

  • The federal fiscal year ends September 30, and most cardholders face internal cutoffs earlier in September. We can issue a same day quote so the purchase can be processed inside your window — ask for a quick quote and tell us your obligation deadline. If you are working use or lose money, say so up front. Expiring funds change what we prioritize on our end, and we would rather tell you plainly whether we can meet your date than have a quote sit while your window closes. Confirm your own installation's cutoff date, which is usually earlier than the 30th.

  • Ask us for our current status rather than assuming. Purchases at this size do not require a GSA schedule — a purchase card micro purchase is the simpler path and does not need a contract vehicle. If your process specifically requires GSA Advantage, tell us and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

  • Yes.  We provide a workshop  Music Tools for Stress and Behavior Management to help staff learn resources and tools for managing their center. The Psychological Effects of Music interactive Assembly works for CYS staff development, installation family events, and youth gatherings. Quote it as a services engagement rather than as materials.

  • Military-connected children navigate deployment separation, frequent relocation, and reintegration. The material addresses emotional regulation and expression through music, which reaches children who will not talk about it directly.

  • Yes. The micro-purchase threshold is $15,000, and the Governmentwide commercial purchase card is the preferred method to purchase and pay for micro-purchases. A typical class-set order is a small fraction of that threshold. For Department of Defense cardholders, certain appointed individuals may use the purchase card above the micro-purchase threshold up to $25,000.

  • Child, Youth and School Services settings — youth centers, school age care, teen programs, and SKIESUnlimited enrichment. Staff searching for youth program curriculum or SEL curriculum for a youth center are generally looking for structured content that does not require a credentialed instructor.

  • Below the micro-purchase threshold, an agency may purchase without soliciting competitive quotations if the price is considered reasonable based on market research, comparison to previous purchases, or the cardholder's own experience — documented in the purchase file. Micro-purchases also do not require the provisions and clauses that apply to larger acquisitions. We provide a sole source justifications so that we don't have to send it to bid. We provide a quote you can attach to your file as that documentation.

  • Tell us your quantity and grade bands and we will confirm stock and transit time before you obligate anything. We would rather give you a real ship date than a hopeful one, particularly against a fiscal year end deadline.

  • Yes, our SAM registration is active. We can provide our UEI and CAGE code on the quote.

  • The Youth Center Director or School Age Care Director is usually the program owner and often the cardholder. School Liaison Officers are also useful — they work across the installation and the surrounding districts and can point to whoever holds the card.

  • Yes. Music recording and video production programming runs at youth centers and teen programs, on site or virtually. It is a strong fit for teen programming specifically, where holding attendance is the recurring challenge. Programming is quoted separately from materials. It is typically a services purchase rather than a supplies purchase, so confirm with your resource manager how your funds are structured before you obligate — and tell us your deadline if you are working against the September 30 fiscal year end.

  • No. We send our own staff to run the programming. We do not train your staff to run it. Recording and production is a skill set, not a procedure. Trying to hand it off in a few hours would be like teaching a doctor to perform surgery in an afternoon — you would get a session that technically happened and a result nobody wants to hear. Quote it as a services engagement rather than training. Your CYS staff are in the room; we bring the personnel and the equipment.

  • No. We are supplemental. We do not replace your SEL curriculum, your trauma-informed practice, or any program you already have in place. If you run a core SEL program, keep it — ours adds a music-based component alongside it. If you have trauma-informed protocols, training, and referral pathways, those stay in force exactly as they are. Nothing in our material substitutes for them, and our facilitators are not a substitute for your clinical, counseling, or behavioral staff. Your CYS program structure, behavioral health referral pathways, and Family Advocacy processes are unaffected.

  • Yes. The Psychological Effects of Music interactive Assembly is built for exactly this — a family engagement event where parents and children participate together rather than sitting through a presentation. That is the difference that matters for attendance. Families come to an event where something happens; they skip an information night. The session is music-driven and participatory, so a parent who speaks little English and a fourth grader are in it on the same terms. Army CYS and Family Advocacy both run family programming, and a participatory event reaches families around deployment and reintegration who avoid anything that looks like counseling.
